Reeves completed his Dunbar career as one of the top pitchers in the state of Kentucky, garnering All-State honors in 2004 & 1st Team All-City in 2005.
Reeves signed with Lincoln Trail Community College, a Top 25 JUCO baseball program. He completed his career at Lincoln trail with a 7-2 record and 3.96 ERA, winning back-to-back Great Rivers Athletic Conference Championships and a NJCAA Region XXIV Championship in 2007.
In 2008 Reeves transferred to play at Bellarmine University and joined fellow PLD alumni, Kent Kobayashi, in Louisville, KY. There he helped lead the team to a Top 25 ranking, a berth to the NCAA Tournament, and helped the team tie a school mark for wins in a season with 36.
Reeves currently resides in Louisville, KY.
