Brett graduated from Brescia University with a degree in Human Resource Management in 2008. He was a 4 year starter for the Brescia baseball team, and was named to the All-Conference team as a pitcher in 2007 and Conference Player of the Year as a first basemen in 2008. Hunt was also named NAIA National Player of the Week in the 2008 season.
Brett currently resides in London, KY with his girlfriend.
